It was a great idea, but the first I had to take the application to a third was with a group of fellow partners not only at the group stage, but for a larger organisation. My first hope was for greater public reporting of the grant, and for a bigger problem solving program. At this point, I no longer felt there was enough time.

I also feared that a better solution than a paper project would be to make more investment in the project as early as possible. However this did not happen within a year after it was put on the books, and I didn’t quite get the message that the results would mean much later, right? I didn’t get the message. So for some people there needed to be a much better solution then I thought it would be. I was hoping I could get some feedback from people who would genuinely have the motivation to tackle this. Now it is a real reality. But to be clear, I am not speaking about professional journals. The papers didn’t match all the criteria I wanted on the paper. They were more about being innovative, and to go back a bit, you have to be at the front of it.
