Nathaniel B 11-23-2009, 08:48 AM I’ve read a copy of this review and it was really interesting to read. The review highlights are detailed and the author of the book has been interviewed and been really looking forward to learning more about his work. They also have him make a very rich selection of work. Obviously not all had a copy and the book is not what is on the shelf. Roshal 11-23-2009, 08:56 AM The review is quite interesting in this, it features a lot of information that was in the publisher’s original design. But for the record, I think I truly agree with the synopsis. I remember the title was “Waking House” and the author of the book is a guy named Barry Thorne. The first review I posted listed the sentences from the book in the “Writing, in Context.” The end result is a book with great discussion of social issues for the reader, and a beautiful set of illustrations, poetry, and a carefully constructed “text.” The book does not state the novel as being a work story; it describes itself as a kind of psychological investigation of the social issues of our time.
